Essence of Christmas – Songs of the Soul with Swami Nirvanananda
Christmas Concert with Swami Nirvanananda
Christmas Concert with Swami Nirvanananda
Sometimes Christmas also teaches us the art of listening.
The online Christmas concert with Swami Nirvanananda has been postponed to a later date, as Swamiji is currently recovering from the flu.
Those who wish can still dedicate a moment to listening, allowing themselves to be accompanied by his voice and by the Names of the Divine:
through his Spotify channel 🔗, by choosing one of his CDs from his website, or simply by listening to a CD you may already have.
He will be happy to know that his voice, even from a distance, accompanies you on this special Sunday, the last Sunday of Advent.
🧡
🤲 Giving During the Christmas Season
During the concert, it will be possible to make a voluntary donation in support of Shanti Onlus, the association supported by Swami Nirvanananda, which works to offer the children of the Beatrix School of Puri the opportunity to continue their studies and grow with new possibilities, dignity, and hope.
In the Christmas season, when the act of giving becomes a universal language, we have the opportunity to extend our hearts beyond borders and accompany these children toward a more open and luminous future.
Giving is a simple and silent act, yet it is also the first step in allowing life to blossom—within us and in others.
Those who wish may contribute freely: every gesture, small or great, becomes part of a chain of love that supports the education and rebirth of these young lives.
In Puri (Odisha), in northeastern India, there is a leprosy village founded by Father Mariano Zelazek SVD (Poland) and Sister Amelia Sbrissa of the Sisters of Charity (Italy), home to more than 400 families.
The children of these families are healthy and regularly monitored by the community doctor. They attend the Beatrix School, where they receive a proper education that will enable them to find employment in the future and eventually build their own families.
The school provides education up to the 10th grade for approximately 700 children. Adjacent to the school, there is also a new orphanage for children who have lost their parents.
Swami Nirvanananda serves as a bridge for us through his association, Shanti Onlus.
Shantipuri Onlus Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the charitable works of Swami Nirvanananda. In addition to continuing Father Mariano’s efforts to eliminate leprosy, Swamiji has expanded the scope of his mission to include various additional projects in the areas surrounding Puri, Odisha, India.
